Kerrville is located in Kerr County in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country. Our chapter is part of Area 6 which is composed of 20 chapters that represent the Texas counties of : Bexar, Wilson, Uvalde, Kerr, Bandera, Medina, Val Verde, Maverick, Dimmit, Lasalle, Frio, Kendall and Gillespie. There are presently approximately 750 members in the area with 9 chapters in San Antonio and 11 in the surrounding counties. Area 6 extends as far south as Cotulla, as far west as Eagle Pass and Del Rio, and as far north as Fredericksburg. It is as geographically diverse as its 20 chapters, with members living in the southern brush country, the western arid and semi arid lands, and the famous and beautiful Texas Hill Country. This is also the home area for three past state presidents, Catherine Davis, Joanne Davis and Dr. Jo Murphy.
